Dear God,
I pray that my daughter will be flexible. When the time is right for compliance, help her to bend. When it is in her best interest to stand her ground, give her strength. Let her see Your truth and not be stubborn in harmful ways. I pray for her to love and trust with abundance. Guide her to her soul mate when the time is right. Permeate her heart with joy everlasting.
Amen
Dear God,
I pray that my daughter will use her arms to embrace life with gusto. To hug often. And, may she eagerly reach out to others in friendship and love. Let my daughter know generosity. Show her how to give open-handedly and receive gracefully. Protect her and set her on a path where she will walk with purpose. Guide her to great places where she can thrive, prosper, and live happily.
Amen
I pray you'll know a friend in Jesus. That you'll bring Him with you wherever you go and share Him with everyone you meet.
I pray that you'll be strong, and be the type of girl who does things that scare her. I also pray that you'll know it's OK to ask for help when you can't do it on your own.
I pray that you surround yourself with good friends and that you'll be a good friend to others. I also pray that you will be kind to the people who are not good friends to you.
Everyone is fighting battles and I hope you have a heart of compassion even toward those who are mean.

Mama Told Me
I pray that you won't feel the need to give part of yourself to a man to feel loved. I pray your heart won't be fractured in that way. I pray you'll wait for a man who desires to follow God's way.
I pray that you will look at injustice and be a voice for the vulnerable. Whether it's a kid being bullied at school or an injustice on a grander level, I pray you will stand for those being pushed down . . . just like Jesus did.
I pray that you will know you are an actual princess. You're the daughter of the King. You don't need the big dress or pearls to prove it. The fact that He created you means you are royalty.
I pray that you'll know you don't need a man to complete you. You are complete all on your own. But I pray you find a good man anyway, one who encourages you and creates dreams with you. One who takes your hand and chases after God with you.
I pray that you'll love your body for the temple it is. I pray you won't shame it or manipulate it. I pray that you recognize that your body is a home for God's spirit, and was bought at a high price.
I pray that in your struggles you will learn so much about grace. I pray you learn firsthand what it's like to be held in your weakest moments and to know you are never alone.
I pray you won't have to compromise yourself or your morals to make others happy. I pray your eyes are focused on the Lord's desire for your life, not man's.
I pray that you know every single day how important you are. That you were created by the Creator on purpose. He looked at the whole world, in all its entirety and eternity, and thought you would be an important piece to His great plan.
I pray you'll learn forgiveness can set you free. I pray you won't live a life imprisoned by anger and bitterness.
I pray that even though I'm so imperfect and have failed at so many of these, that I can be one of the people who helps guide you through these things.
Most importantly, my baby girl, I pray you know how loved you are. Our God loves you more than I can explain, but you have a mama who will spend the rest of her life trying to give you just a glimpse of His love for you.
Amen.
Thank You Father, for the heritage and gift of children. I bring the precious daughter that You have placed in our family to You, and give her into Your safe-keeping from this day forward.
Father, I thank You that she has come to a child-like understanding of Who Jesus is and has accepted Him as her Saviour, coming realise that He died to pay the price for her sins, and rose again, so that she could live, and be with Him forever.
Thank You, Lord, for her simple, child-like trust in You and I pray that she may grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus. May she mature in the faith, and keep her I pray, from all the wiles of the evil one who would seek to undermine her trust in You.
Develop in my little daughter the fruit of the Spirit, and may she learn to walk in spirit and truth as she grows and develops in her Christian faith. Help me to teach her the beautiful virtues of honesty and integrity, gentleness and humility. May she come to love Your Word and hunger and thirst for righteousness sake. Keep her I pray, unto her life's end with an ever increasing trust in Jesus as Saviour and Lord. In Jesus' name I pray,
Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, it is with great sadness that I have witnessed the increasing rebelliousness of youth in my own precious daughter and the aching pain in my heart is so intense that at times, I feel numb with helplessness and sadness.
Lord, You know only too well how easily and insidiously the world and the flesh influences young people and captures the hearts and minds of today's youth, and my anguish is only surpassed my by inability to help the daughter that You gave us, whom I love so dearly, but who has for too long been sliding into defiant disobedience.
Forgive me that I did not recognise and address this issue much sooner and forgive me Lord, that I did not train up my daughter in the best possible way, and I ask that even now, You would help her to develop a Biblical mind-set and a mature, godly character. Nevertheless, I know that You are a God who cares for each of Your children and I lay the life of my daughter before You now, and ask You to help me to correct my own lack in parenting and to help us mend our fractured relationship. Heal our hurting hearts I pray, and draw us together in the bond of peace and love.
Father, I pray that whatever it takes You would change me into the parent that You would want me to be, so that in Your strength I may be enabled to restore our relationship. And Lord, I also pray that whatever it takes You would address my daughters rebellion against authority and her disinterest in spiritual matters. Into Your hands I commit my own life and the future of my daughter, and trust You to do a good work in us both, to Your praise and glory. This I ask in Jesus' name,
Amen.
Give my daughter a deep desire to listen to You, Lord, and pray often, “What message does my Lord have for his servant?” (Joshua 5:14b).
Let her learn early in life that to obey You, God, is the best way to the life her heart truly desires, (1 Samuel 15:22).
Dear Father in Heaven,
Thank you for this daughter. I pray she knows just how desperately she is valued and wanted by her family and You. I pray you whisper truth after truth to every hungry corner of her heart.
May her confidence lie in unwavering Christ and not this wobbly-legged world .
Give her a can-do spirit, not because of who she is but because of the One who is what she isn't.
Help me treat her as a friend today, since real friends keep the easy and hard truth central. May our hearts stay close now and when she grows. Show us how to relish relationship with one another and may that relationship always be rooted in Christ.
May the only mirror she stares into be the one Jesus holds as He reminds her she is His beautiful, creative, intelligent, fierce, mighty wonder and work of art. May she see her value not overly or underly, but reality.
Help her care more about what You think of her than anyone else, including me. Since You see her days stretched out from beginning to end, You know best what path she should take and when.
May she be willing to trade more comfort for more Christ. Give her a head and a heart willing to hunt down Your will in the big and small. After she has done this, show me how I may encourage as a source of help rather than hindrance.
Give her strength so her fears don't become the boss of her. She will have fears, but don't allow fears to have her. May she remember only the perfect love of Jesus drives out fear.
Keep her heart tender to the things that move You, Lord. Childlike faith, joy, zest and even bravery can slip away with age like colors of a sunset. Help her choose You and Your light so darkness hasn't a moment to settle in.
May she hunger for your Word and never get her fill of the Bread of Life.
Remind her to move onward and upward by recording her gifts because there is never a time to stop giving thanks. You are the giver of every good thing and You never stop being good.
May she know she can't ever sin further than Your forgiveness, and that You are the God of unlimited do-overs. Help her understand Your ways of grace and love endure beyond her every beyond.
{And all God's daughters stood and stretched their wings and said,}
Amen!
