Thank You Father, for the heritage and gift of children. I bring the precious daughter that You have placed in our family to You, and give her into Your safe-keeping from this day forward.
Father, I thank You that she has come to a child-like understanding of Who Jesus is and has accepted Him as her Saviour, coming realise that He died to pay the price for her sins, and rose again, so that she could live, and be with Him forever.
Thank You, Lord, for her simple, child-like trust in You and I pray that she may grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus. May she mature in the faith, and keep her I pray, from all the wiles of the evil one who would seek to undermine her trust in You.
Develop in my little daughter the fruit of the Spirit, and may she learn to walk in spirit and truth as she grows and develops in her Christian faith. Help me to teach her the beautiful virtues of honesty and integrity, gentleness and humility. May she come to love Your Word and hunger and thirst for righteousness sake. Keep her I pray, unto her life's end with an ever increasing trust in Jesus as Saviour and Lord. In Jesus' name I pray,
Amen.
Father, I thank You that You invite us into Your protection; that when we seek You and make You our God that You promise to command Your angels to watch over us (Psalm 91:9-12).
I pray now that You would protect my children as they go throughout their days. Hem them in behind and before and lay Your hand upon them (Psalm 139:5). Do not let any harm come to them. Keep each of my children safe beneath Your wings and guard them against any plots that are meant to harm or bring ruin to them. Be close to each of my children, Lord, surround them with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:11-12).
I pray You would protect them in all the ways they walk; in their coming out and their going in. Guard them against diseases of the mind and body, accidents, predators and kinds of evil and evil-doers. Anoint each of my children with Your favor and protection, letting them rest safely between Your shoulders (Deuteronomy 33:12).
Father, as my children walk through their days, I pray You would give them clear direction in doing Your will, so they may remain within Your protection. Give them wisdom to know when to shy away from potential harm, both physically and spiritually. Then help them courageously walk away from it. May the blood of Jesus ash over each of my children, covering them as they walk through this day and every day of their lives. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Precious Lord, he who dwells in the shelter of You – the Most High – shall abide in the shadow of the Almighty. Lord, I pray that You are my child's refuge and fortress, the God in whom they can and should put their trust! I pray that no evil shall be allowed to befall on my child, no plague will come near his/her tent. I rejoice for You have commanded Your angels concerning my child to guard him/her in all of his/her ways. Amen.
Lord, I know that my child's help (and protection) comes from You, the Lord who made heaven and earth. You will not let Your foot be moved. You will not slumber. Thank You for being my child's keeper, You are the shade on my child's right hand. The sun will not strike my child by day, nor the moon by might. Thank You in advance for keeping my child from all evil. You will keep my child's life, from this time forth and forevermore. Amen.
Creator God, You knit my daughter together in my womb; before I even knew she existed, You were fashioning the cells that make her who she is today. Help her to praise You when she looks in the mirror, to see the beauty of Your workmanship, and to celebrate Your creativity (Psalm 139:13-16).
Clothe her with strength and dignity and keep her free from anxiety and worry; fill her with a joyous anticipation for tomorrow (Proverbs 31:25). May her Christ-centered character be what makes her most beautiful, an inner gentleness and quiet strength that's rooted in knowing who and whose she is (1 Peter 3:3-4).
May her face radiate the beauty of being in the presence of the Most High God (2 Corinthians 3:18), and may she be a fragrance of life and the sweet aroma of Christ among those who are being saved (2 Corinthians 2:15-16).
Dear Lord, I know that Your Word does not return void and I'm believing great things for my daughter today:
1. Let her learn early in life that to obey You, God, is the best way to the life her heart truly desires (1 Samuel 15:22).
2. May she find comfort in Your ability, God, to reach her, hold her and rescue her (2 Samuel 22:17-18).
3. Let her find confidence in You, God, even when hard times come and she doesn't know what to do, by keeping her eyes fixed on You (2 Chronicles 20:12).
4. May she keep herself under control and not give full vent to people and situations that anger her (Proverbs 29:11).
5. Let her walk in the security of Your assigned worth to her. Give her a strong work ethic and health to accomplish all her tasks. Give her a heart that desires to extend her hand to those in need. Protect her for the right husband, a man of respect and godly honor. And let her be a woman of joy and laughter whose Christ-centered character is what makes her most beautiful (Proverbs 31). May we both grow in our relationship with You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Dear Jesus, we weep with you over the number of our kids who are buying into the lie that sexual pleasure is something to experiment with. We pray that our daughters would treasure their sexuality as a true gift from You, and that they would honor that gift by saving it as a precious treasure to give their future spouse. We ask that you would help them to be strong in the face of their own desires and that they would choose purity in the face of temptation.
Lord we also ask that you'd protect our daughters from the idea that they must do anything and everything (including abusing their bodies through eating disorders, drug abuse, or other harmful behaviors) in order to attaining a “preferred” shape or figure. We pray you'd protect our sons from that kind of destructive thinking, and that if they're tempted to take these kind of drastic measures, that you'd send someone in their lives to stop them. Help them to remember over and over that their identity is not in how they look on the outside but what you see as their potential and worth on the inside.
We pray that our daughters would treasure their health as a gift from God and that they would have a passion to eat nutritious food and to stay active in order to do their part to take care of this treasure. In Jesus name, Amen.
