Loving Lord and Heavenly Father, I thank You with all my heart for this precious daughter of ours and I pray that Your grace and mercy would be poured out on her in such abundance, and that she would grow in grace and in a knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
May she be surrounded by Your peace, protected by Your strength and find her hope and joy in You alone. Give her ears that are responsive to Your voice, eyes that look to Jesus as Her Saviour and a heart that responds to Your grace so that she learns to abide in You and rest in Your love.
Bless our mother-daughter relationship and give me wisdom and to teach and train her, and yet help me to be prepared to step back when it is time for her to spread her wings and not stifle her creativity.
Give her a heart of compassion and generosity towards others. A heart that is willing to help with cheerfulness and grace, and may she learn to give encouragement to others when she sees a need. Bestow on her godly wisdom and discernment, and may she develop a teachable spirit and a heart of thanksgiving and praise to You.
May the time that we spend together be truly blessed by You, and I do praise You dear Father for giving me this precious daughter for this season of our lives. Thank You, Father. In Jesus' name I pray,
Amen.
Dear Jesus, thank you for who you are. You are indeed omnipotent and omnipresence. I am grateful that you can see into our hearts. So right now God, will you see into the heart of my daughter? Purify her heart and protect her from all evil thoughts and ideas. Help my daughter to see the beauty you have placed inside of her. And help her to not be blinded by the world's definition of beauty. Father help her to be secure in who you say she is; fearfully and wonderfully made; a royal priesthood, a chosen generation.
I pray for Your spiritual, physical and emotion defense over my daughter. Help her to known that you are her refuge and strength in times of difficulties. Protect her mind from evil conversations and grant her the spirit of discernment. Father, help her to hear your voice clearly and that she will hear nothing but truth. Lord help her to realize that safety can only be found in You and no-one else. So, thank you Father for your love, strength and protection over my daughter in Jesus Name. Amen.
Father, I bless your name. I thank you for my wonderful daughter. My prayer is that you would walk with her always. May her eyes always be drawn to the things of your kingdom. Guard her heart oh God, that she would not follow it unto distraction.
Dear God, may your word be truly hidden in her heart. Let it be a lamp unto her feet and a light on her path. May she live by every confession that comes from her mouth. Let your word never depart from her lips. Guide her to live in your will. She will not dwell in sin! In Jesus' name. Amen
Father, I thank you for my daughter's friends. Those that are, those that have been and those still to come. Surround her with good company, oh Lord. Remove any bad company from her midst. She will be of good character. She will not be corrupted. I pray that you would use her to be of good influence on her peers. In Jesus' name. Amen
Lord even while she may be unmarried, may she never forget her worth. May her worth never be defined or derived from any man. She is complete in Christ. She is whole in Christ. My daughter is a wife of noble character. Let her be found by a man worthy of her value. Give her wisdom to wait on you
Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus, and I pray over (_________) heart. That she would guard her heart out of her love for You by being mindful about what she sees or listen to. Keep her pure before you, and her heart free from anger or malice.
I pray Father God that (_________) would come to know you as her God, not her parent's God. That she would love you with her whole heart, her mind, and her soul. That she would come to know you, Father God intimately, and personally, so that it affects her behavior and the way she speaks.
Dear Lord, I know that Your Word does not return void and I'm believing great things for my daughter today:
1. Let her learn early in life that to obey You, God, is the best way to the life her heart truly desires (1 Samuel 15:22).
2. May she find comfort in Your ability, God, to reach her, hold her and rescue her (2 Samuel 22:17-18).
3. Let her find confidence in You, God, even when hard times come and she doesn't know what to do, by keeping her eyes fixed on You (2 Chronicles 20:12).
4. May she keep herself under control and not give full vent to people and situations that anger her (Proverbs 29:11).
5. Let her walk in the security of Your assigned worth to her. Give her a strong work ethic and health to accomplish all her tasks. Give her a heart that desires to extend her hand to those in need. Protect her for the right husband, a man of respect and godly honor. And let her be a woman of joy and laughter whose Christ-centered character is what makes her most beautiful (Proverbs 31). May we both grow in our relationship with You. In Jesus' Name, Amen. ~ Lysa TerKeurst
