Father God we come into your presence today and declare The Glory of Our Lord all around us, we so appreciate your love that has been spread abroad in our hearts, gracious Father hear our prayer this day.
We come before you to lift up our brothers & sisters in leadership, Father much more is asked of them in this calling, we humbly beseech you Lord to guide, fill these leaders with your Holy Spirit that they in turn will bless all that they minister to in the Body of Christ and to those who are yet to be called into your kingdom.
We give thanks for the sacrifices that are made by those in leadership on their families Lord, pray that the families will feel your love in the absence of their own fathers or mothers as they reach out to others.
Gracious Father we ask this in Jesus precious Name,
Amen.
Almighty and Everlasting God: you alone are God, there is no other.
You have revealed yourself to us in many ways, through your creation, scripture and the prophets, and through your Son Jesus Christ.
You have also revealed yourself to us by name, so that we can call out to you in faith, hope, and love.
Help us to always remember that you are with us. Into your hands we commend ourselves all for whom we pray, trusting in your goodness and mercy, through your Son Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit; one God now and forever.
Amen!
Pray for deep conviction of sin, and that husbands and wives will walk together in peace and in the presence of God.
Pray that he will love his wife as Christ loved the church. That he will love his wife to the point where he is willing to lay down his life for her. Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her
husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies
he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church (Eph.5:25-32). Husbands love your wives and do not be harsh with them (Col.3:19). Husbands in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life so that nothing will hinder your prayers (1Pe.3:7).
Dear Jesus. Hear my cry to save my marriage and family! I'm in the midst of total ruin ! I ask that you heal my wife heart and change mind this moment ! You know I'm on my last leg now ! Help me! Put your spirit upon me.! That they may know u are with me Lord ! At times I feel I rather be dead than to have my family divided up ! Help me Lord ! Help me please ! Turn this situation around at this moment ! And never let there ever be any division again ! In christ jesus holy name I pray ! AMEN!!!!!
We thank you, Lord Jesus,
because the Gospel of the Father's love,
with which you came to save the world,
has been proclaimed far and wide in America
as a gift of the Holy Spirit
that fills us with gladness.
We thank you for the gift of your Life,
which you have given us by loving us to the end:
your Life makes us children of God,
brothers and sisters to each other.
Increase, O Lord, our faith and our love for you,
present in all the tabernacles of the continent.
Grant us to be faithful witnesses
to your Resurrection
for the younger generation of Americans,
so that, in knowing you, they may follow you
and find in you their peace and joy.
Only then will they know that they
are brothers and sisters
of all God's children scattered
łthroughout the world.
You who, in becoming man,
chose to belong to a human family,
teach families the virtues which filled with light
the family home of Nazareth.
May families always be united,
as you and the Father are one,
and may they be living witnesses
to love, justice and solidarity;
make them schools of respect,
forgiveness and mutual help,
so that the world may believe;
help them to be the source of vocations
to the priesthood and the consecrated life,
and all the other forms
of firm Christian commitment.
Protect your Church and the Successor of Peter,
to whom you, Good Shepherd, have entrusted
the task of feeding your flock.
Grant that the Church in America may flourish
and grow richer in the fruits of holiness.
Teach us to love your Mother, Mary,
as you loved her.
Give us strength to proclaim
your word with courage
in the work of the new evangelization,
so that the world may know new hope.
Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of America,
pray for us!
Jesus, you chose to be born into a family
with a married mother and father.
We ask for courage as we stand with children,
protecting their fundamental human right
to know and be cared for
by their mothers and fathers, as far as possible.
May no child ever be intentionally deprived
of his mother or father, without just cause.
We ask the intercession of the Holy Family
for laws that recognize marriage
that unites a man and a woman with each other
and any children born from their union.
We pray for public institutions that encourage men and women
to make themselves irreplaceable to each other in marriage
in preparation to receive children as gifts.
Grant us the grace and wisdom
to participate in the evangelization of culture
for marriage and family.
Amen
As we answer God's call
in our vocation
in the Sacrament of Marriage
to follow Christ and to serve
the kingdom of God in our married life,
we ask, in and through the concreteness of
events, problems, difficulties and circumstances
of everyday life, that God will come to us,
guiding us and enlightening us as we share
Christ's love with one another, in our family life,
at work, in our neighbourhood, in our
contributions to society
and in the life and worship of our parish.
AMEN
