Bless the work we do,
the words we say,
the love we share
and the grace we show,
on our daily walk
through this beautiful
and precious world.
Heavenly Father, I have been so wishy-washy when it comes to taking hold of Your promises and making them mine. But today, I'm putting my foot down! I will not allow my human reason to talk me out of my spiritual inheritance. I will set my foot down on every promise that You have given me today. I'm going in! In Jesus' Name, Amen. - Sharon Jayes
Lord, I am weary and don't know when this “race” will end in my life. I feel like I've been running forever, trying to outrun this trial. Help me to stop trying to outrun my pain but rather run with endurance the race you have set before me. I know that because of you I am ultimately a victor over the trials in my life. I know that nothing in this world can separate me from your steadfast love. Please give me a measure of your love today; give me the strength to endure this trial. Thank you for your love for me that never ends! And thank you for the crown of joy that awaits me forever in your Kingdom! - Adrian Rogers

Walk beside us, O Holy One,
as we question and welcome,
as we challenge and invite,
as we discover and understand,
As we see, touch, taste, smell, and listen for the Newness awaiting us in 2020.
May we, Your Holy People, walk forward together side by side.
Amen
Lord God,
We thank you for everything that has happened this past year. We are truly grateful for all the blessings and opportunities you have bestowed upon our family. All the praise and glory goes back to your name, O Lord.
We are also thankful for the challenges and trials you've given us, God. We know that you never give us tests we wouldn't overcome, and we know you give them to make us stronger. And for that, we are grateful we came out stronger, wiser, and more unified as a family.
We thank each and every member of our family, and we are grateful that you've gifted us with their existence. We are also thankful for the times and memories we've spent with them this past year, so we could forge an everlasting connection and love with each other. We are also grateful for the grace you've shown us by keeping everyone safe and healthy.
We lift the past year up to you, Lord Jesus, and we would like to lift this upcoming year to you once again. We pray that you walk with us and be the center of our family this year, like the other years before.
This we ask in your name. Amen.
Eternal God, You gave us the greatest gift: the gift of life.
In the coming year, help us use it wisely.
May we grow in generosity, kindness and forgiveness, hope, faith and love.
Amen.
Our Father and our God, as we stand at the beginning of this new year we confess our need of Your presence and Your guidance as we face the future.
We each have our hopes and expectations for the year that is ahead of us—but You alone know what it holds for us, and only You can give us the strength and the wisdom we will need to meet its challenges. So help us to humbly put our hands into Your hand, and to trust You and to seek Your will for our lives during this coming year.
In the midst of life's uncertainties in the days ahead, assure us of the certainty of Your unchanging love.
In the midst of life's inevitable disappointments and heartaches, help us to turn to You for the stability and comfort we will need.
In the midst of life's temptations and the pull of our stubborn self-will, help us not to lose our way but to have the courage to do what is right in Your sight, regardless of the cost.
And in the midst of our daily preoccupations and pursuits, open our eyes to the sorrows and injustices of our hurting world, and help us to respond with compassion and sacrifice to those who are friendless and in need. May our constant prayer be that of the ancient Psalmist: “Teach me, O Lord, to follow your decrees; then I will keep them to the end” (Psalm 119:33).
