Oh God our Creator and giver of life, you sent your Son, the Prince of Peace to redeem us and teach us the
way of Love. Listen to the supplications of your suffering children of Kenya in this difficult moment of our
dear country. Hear the cries of many people afflicted through the death of their loved ones, or the loss of
property. Hear the signs of those who fear for their lives or have been displaced and are facing hunger and
scarcity.
Through the power of your grace, we ask you Lord, to drive out from our midst any form of hatred with your
healing Love. Bring about Justice through the way of charity. Where there is bitterness teach us forgiveness
and reconciliation. Put in our hearts the Love for truth so that your Justice can prevail. Above all Father,
touch the hearts of our political leaders so that they may humble seek a disinterested dialogue that will bring
about understanding.
May you bless our Land once more with lasting peace and fraternal understanding, where in your Love; we
will live in unity, peace and liberty as brother and sisters. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Lord I ask for the land of Kenya. Remember Your people, Lord, those tossed about, oppressed and trampled upon by situations, hunger and thirst. O Lord, remember mercy and heal our land. Bring the latter rains, O Lord, I pray.
Father in the Mighty name of Jesus I thank You. I thank You because all power belongs to You. Thank You because You always answer my prayers. I ask for forgiveness on behalf of our land and nation Kenya. Forgive us for we have not walked in your ways. I repent for all wickedness, injustice, nepotism, tribalism, hatred, bloodshed, idolatry, and having not given You Your rightful place in our nation.Amen
O Lord, remember mercy and heal our land. Bring the latter rains, O Lord, I pray. Open the flood gates of heaven and let it rain. I plead the blood of Jesus over this land. Let that Blood that speaks better things than the blood of Abel speak peace in Kenya before, during and after the elections. Raise leaders that are after Your heart, O Lord. Give us leaders chosen by You and let them be vessels to bring this land back to the fear of You, O Lord.
Let there be peace and love for one another. Let any power thirsting for the blood of any Kenyan be quenched by the blood of Jesus. I cancel violence in Jesus name. I decree peace, prosperity and blessing to this land. Let peace be upon Nairobi, let peace be upon the four corners of this great land. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
Almighty God, We come to honor you this day as we celebrate Jamhuri Day. We come to acknowledge that you are the only one who can rightly lead and guide our country.
Lord, we lift up prayer for our country. We ask that you would bless our country with your wisdom, your love, and your compassion. May we be a people who are pursuing you and your plans for us - individually and corporately. Amen
