now release anything that disturbs me. My body is still and
centered. I expand my awareness to the earth and sea and sky,
feeling my oneness with all that is. Spirit streams, pours, and
shines through me, restoring peace to my soul and blessing the
world. I am serene and in perfect harmony. I know that in Truth,
all is well in my world, and I am grateful.
n
Nothing can disturb the calm peace of my soul. Awash in
the love of God, I am at ease in my body. I allow grace into
my life to make light my burdens. I am calm and poised. I
release any worries, cares, or concerns, and feel the love,
peace, and presence of God with me now and always.
Dear Lord we ask for your power and peace that goes beyond our understanding in these times of uncertainty and turbulence. We are grateful for being able to come to you at any time with our requests. In you we are anxious for nothing. We ask that your light shines brightly towards us so that we stay securely on the path you have for us, and that your light shines brightly through us to be a lighthouse for those struggling at this time. Help us not forget that the same power that conquered the grave lives in us and may that same power give us strength today. Thank you God for loving us yesterday, today, and always. We lift up this prayer in the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen!
May Your love shine through us, as a beacon to those around us, both near and far, and may we be so aware of Your Presence to us, even in this hour, that no one might think of rejecting Your Holy Spirit's direction of their lives, yes, even in every step we take. Now, beloved friends, may you also be moved in this time, through the Spirit of God in your heart, and so, to abandon yourself to Him, with the resolve that now, from this day onward, the Lord your God shall have your heart and soul, and, He will reply, I will become and I will remain hers, and his, both in time and eternity. Yes, our Lord, that is what you would work within us, for the sake of Your eternal and heartfelt love. In the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
May the faithful Jesus have mercy upon each person whom God has created, and especially for each one here who has heard Your call to prepare for ministry at Asbury. We pray also for each member of this community of faith and learning, that we together will draw closely to You, even as You are searching for us to allow Your Presence to enter more deeply into our hearts, and minds, and in all that we are, that You might be not only the Savior who is for us, by virtue of your precious death on the cross for our salvation, but also because you desire to reside as the Christ who dwells within us, through your Holy Spirit, so that we might manifest Your light and life in all that we think, do and speak. Amen
Dear Lord, I know that there is no sickness you cannot heal.
You know all things, you can do all things and I know you love me very much.
With faith in your promise that whatever we ask in prayer,
you will grant us if it will be good for our soul.
I come before you to ask for the healing of my body, mind, emotions and spirit.
Touch me now where I am hurting most.
Only you know what kind of healing I need most right now. Amen
Dear Lord, wherever hearts are hardened to others and violence builds, let your
power begin to erode the vast walls of ignorance we have constructed. Let us
begin to see the humanity in one another which makes us the same – our needs,
our feelings, our relationships – and learn, however slowly, to celebrate the
differences which teach us so much about one another and about you.
Through Christ our Reconciler, amen.
O God:
Give me strength to live another day;
Let me not turn coward before its difficulties or prove recreant to its duties;
Let me not lose faith in other people;
Keep me sweet and sound of heart, in spite of ingratitude, treachery, or meanness;
Preserve me from minding little stings or giving them;
Help me to keep my heart clean, and to live so honestly and fearlessly that no outward failure can dishearten me or take away the joy of conscious integrity;
Open wide the eyes of my soul that I may see good in all things;
Grant me this day some new vision of thy truth;
Inspire me with the spirit of joy and gladness;
and make me the cup of strength to suffering souls;
in the name of the strong Deliverer, our only Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
O God of peace, you have taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit lift us, we pray you, to your presence, where we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
